Mac Miller #01

This picture was taken one late night back in 2011 at ID Labs, a studio in Lawrenceville, a neighborhood in Pittsburgh. I had hung out with Malcolm at a prom for his alma mater (and mine!) Taylor Allderdice High School he performed at earlier,, and then hustled over to ID to record into the night. It was the night Malcolm McCormick recorded "Missed Calls" - which has been my ringtone since. I sat at his feet in the closet of a recording booth as Malcolm sang the lyrics off his phone. “Gone too soon. Wait! We was just hangin’....”
