IBM

I shot a lot for IBM in the 90’s. Many of the infamous Jon Iwata Annual Reports for IBM included some of my favorite assignments ever. I illustrated getting apples from the orchards in Cape Town to the Campo Di Fiori in Rome by having the Cape Town pickers throw the apples into a brilliant blue sky and the old mafia man in charge of the Campo Di Fiori catch them from heavens. I shot in China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Hawaii, all over Europe, and the US for IBM. When I joined Creative Shop (the in-house ad agency at Facebook/Instagram) as their first Artist in Residence, my first call was to Jon Iwata. New shootings of IBM research entailed followed by a new ad campaign of projections for Instagram.
